Shafts

Shafts designed for putters basically do not differ from standard shafts for irons. Tougher shafts are considered but values such as flex, kickpoint or torque are not really dealt with in view of the nature of the putting stroke. Shafts are made of thin-walled steel tubes equipped with silver chrome coating. We also experiment with very tough graphite shafts (use graphite True Temper Sensicore), but their use makes more sense with regard to overall putter weight distribution. We can bend thin-walled chrome steel shafts in cold and hot temperatures to a certain extent.

We mount True Temper and UST shafts on our putters as follows:

True Temper: we use a straight shaft designed for center shafted models (RED+, 461) stepless and OH (over hosel) for models with a short neck. Weight 113 g – 120 g.

True Temper T2C: a straight heavy shaft, weight 218 g.

True Temper DB: double bend shaft, for neckless models. Weight 120 g.

True Temper SB: single bend shaft , weight 120 g.

True Temper AP: single bend shaft , weight 120 g. It differs from a shaft marked SB by the point of the movement and angle of the bend.

UST Frequency Filtered: a mixed steel and graphite shaft absorbing unwanted vibrations. Models DB, SB, OH and straight. Weight 106 g. A shaft with a very pleasant feel, slightly increasing the swing weight.
