Engraving, stamping and colouring
Every jag´ putter contains standard engraving that consists of the model mark as well as various lines and points facilitating aim. Should you wish to order a newly produced putter, you have the individual choice of colour for filling in the engraving (standard + special colour shades).
By custom engraving you can individualise the bottom of the putter. You can have an inscription, signature, logo and simple drawings made.
To a smaller extent we also offer custom etching applied to the bottom of the putter and can achieve virtually the same. However etching is applied by always using a thin line and is colourless.
Individualised engraving and etching cannot be additionally applied to the BlackTi surface in view of this coating. Should you be interested in a custom engraved putter with BlackTi coating, you must expect a longer term of delivery.
The stamping of initials is done by hand. Please respect our recommendation when choosing the place to be embossed. In view of the high resilience of the materials used on our putters, we perform standard 3 mm size embossing of a total of 4 characters using only capitalised letters and possible symbols . / ° * – + Unless you choose the custom embossing colour yourself, you will have one chosen to match the colour of the putter engraving or grip.
A sight dot (aiming dot, or circle on the top side of the putter above the sweet spot used as an aiming point) can be additionally applied to all centrally shafted jag’ putters. We will choose the same colour for the sight dot as for the aiming line.
We divide colours for colouring engraving into three groups:
- Standard shades – covering (opaque) colours as well as enamels applied to black and silver putters
- Fluorescent colours – transparent colours used exclusively with our silver putter coatings
- Special shades – colours with a high share of metal particles (gold, silver, copper…), luminescent colours (glowing in the dark) and with special effects.
