The simplest thing to do to reduce or accurately adjust the distribution of the weight is to mill away holes in the bottom which are sealed with stainless steel plugs or weights, or weighing screws. We do this normally, don’t we. But I don’t enjoy this. There is a more difficult way to achieve the required weight. Stand at a sander for 2 hours, for 2 hours at a vice with a file in your hand and for 2 hours at a polisher. You have an accurate digital scale on a workbench to constantly measure the precise weight …and this is the result. The coating will be matt silver. I play with it for two days and feel that I am putting alone. Well it will probably be rubbish. Stamp M+09, CS.
