I felt bad several times. The first time when I was unsuccessful for a long while in the office to calibrate “this contraption”, the second time when, after successful calibration, I putted about 20 decent strokes …and the screen spat out a message of something like “why don’t I try cycling instead”. Yes. We had bought a highly accurate electronic putting analysis. Unlike filming a swing, we analyse only and just the movement of the club using a sensor attached to the putter shaft, of course in relation to the target line. We measure quantities such as: the head alignment at adress, angle at impact and their differences, with the target line, line of movement (front and back) and putter head angles at the final points, effective loft at the point of the stroke, accuracy of hitting the sweet spot, speed at the point of impact, tempo of the swing and stroke in relation to the total time of the stroke, everything subsequently nicely aligned to check for consistency. Do you want to try? I sincerely recommend it.

warning! When looking at an accurate electronic record of your putting stroke you could feel bad. I felt bad :-)
