the neck is the issue. Whether you have one or not. The shaft directly connected to the head allows one to focus during construction on the overall precise distribution of the weight, but does not allow mass production on an industrial scale because in order to maintain the precise angles you must complete in an adequately precise measuring device. Any sort of neck enabling “plug and play” type completion will usually alter the distribution of the weight so much that further modifications need to be made. So when a neck is required, we use special, or an extreme fitting, i.e. necks welded onto the head by laser, or very short, hollow necks and make further weight modifications.
